Grandpa and Grandma purchased the property and its original fishing cabin in the 1940's.
The property has been handed down from generation to generation with family members visiting annually and making wonderful memories since then.
The original fishing cabin was recently torn down (unfortunately, could not be saved) and a new cabin was built in its place.
Several generations of family members pitched in to build the boathouse and the rental cabin, finishing it up in the early 1970's. It was used exclusively by immediate family as a treasured summer getaway until now.
We've recently added a few upgrades and finishing touches, but the cabin retains most of its original features including beautiful pine /cedar walls, ceilings and floors.
The owners are likely to be available most days onsite at the next-door owner's cabin should you need extra towels, blankets, cleaning supplies or other provided items or if you have questions or need help with anything.
The owners' very friendly mini-Golden Doodle may be seen around on the property at times (but tends to prefer sleeping inside most of the day).
