Polley's Landing is ~2 city block walk to the guest cabin. The guest dock is visible from the landing. It is a single approach with a notable downhill landing but many guests prefer it because it is so close (~1-2min boat ride to the guest dock).
Our favorite launch is Pederson's Landing, about 3.4mi / 7 min drive from the cabin.
Timbuktu Landing also is an option although a slightly longer boat ride to the guest dock (4.7mi, 8min).

Wolfe’s Den Cabin offers a Northwoods lake setting with private guest accommodations, private dock access and direct access to Lake Vermilion.
Like many established Lake Vermilion properties, the cabin is part of a lakeshore community with neighboring cabins nearby, including a nearby family-oriented resort.
During some popular summer vacation weeks, guests may occasionally hear children and family activity from the resort’s beach and recreation areas during daytime hours.
The owners maintain a separate neighboring family cabin and are usually present during guest stays while respecting guest privacy at all times.
No. Wolfe’s Den Cabin is a family-oriented property with neighboring cabins and with the owners living next door. Parties, events or disruptive gatherings are not permitted.
No. Smoking and vaping are prohibited inside the cabin and in the boathouse.
Smoking is permitted outside but smoking materials must be fully extinguished and disposed of properly in provided metal cans. This policy reflects the risks associated with the heavily wooded nature of the buildings and the property, as well as insurance requirements.
Outdoor fires may be permitted depending on local conditions and fire restrictions.
During elevated fire danger conditions or Red Flag Warnings, outdoor fires and indoor fireplace use may be temporarily prohibited for guest safety.
We provide plenty of free firewood and firestarters, you don't need to bring those.
Propane for the grill is provided at no charge.
We periodically have charcoal available when left by prior guests but it isn't guaranteed. Please reach out shortly before your stay to check on availability.
We provide a small amount of ice in the cabin freezer to get you started but we advise purchasing your own bag if you will need it for fishing/boating trips (the cabin freezer has ice cube trays but not an ice maker). Many local retailers sell ice.
